Thinking of using the True Key app but have all your login information and encrypted notes in another password manager?

Getting started with True Key by Intel Security couldn’t be easier with the help of our new password importer.

You can transfer all of your existing passwords and notes securely from the latest version of your browser and a few popular password managers for free. It takes three easy steps to complete the process.

How To Import Passwords:

FOR NEW USERS:

Once you’ve installed the True Key app, you’ll be asked if you would like to import your passwords as you create your account.

FOR EXISTING USERS:

You can get started by going to your True Key Profile Preferences by clicking the gear icon in the top right corner. (Did you notice the new design? See how to navigate through here.)

Then you will see an “Import” option right below.

This takes you to a secure, local webpage where you can transfer all your sensitive information simply and safely. Select which platform you would like to import your passwords and safe notes from to begin the process.

You will need to log in to securely connect your True Key profile to the importer of your preference.

Once you are done, you will see a list of all the information you have saved in the account. If you don’t want to import all your information, you can select which assets you would like to bring over.

After that, click import. You will get a success notification so you can swing back to your True Key profile and see all the new passwords and notes you have stored.

And that’s it. You’re done!

We hope you enjoy using the True Key app, and hope you’ll get in touch!

Happy Importing!
