As our daily habits become increasingly dependent on the convenience and accessibility of mobile devices, more people are turning to the True Key mobile app to secure their passwords and sign into their accounts on the go. That’s why we’re excited to tell you that we’ve been on a roll, designing new mobile features left and right, that will help you get to where you need to go, faster. Curious to know what’s new?

Here’s what you can watch out for:

Credit Card Scanner
Safari Extension becomes the True Key extension + Chrome support on iOS
New Advanced Factor: Face + Fingerprint on Android
New Safe Notes Preferences: Hide the content of your notes on Android
Password Generator History on Android
Simplified Login Tile

Credit Card Scanner

Need a safe place to store your credit cards? You're in luck. Now it’s easy to scan them with the True Key app's new Credit Card Scanner on Android and iOS devices. Simply position your card in front of the camera, take a picture and add it to your True Key Wallet. This way, cards stay handy whenever and wherever you need them. Bonus: You’ll never have to worry about losing your (actual) wallet again.

Safari Extension becomes our very own True Key extension on iOS

What used to be Safari Extension is now the True Key extension, and on the same note, Chrome support for iOS has arrived. You’re free to browse the web on your iOS device and instantly log into your sites within the Chrome browser. Better yet, add new Logins straight from the browser so the app can save and fill in those pesky passwords for you. In case you were wondering how it’s all done, we threw in a Tutorial Mode that provides simple, easy to follow steps for effortless navigation.

Stay tuned for new browser support coming soon!

Face + Fingerprint combo for Android

Introducing our newest advanced security factor combination on Android! You can choose to sign into your True Key profile with, yep, you guessed it, a combination of your face and fingerprint. Say goodbye to your Master Password and sign in with what’s unique to you, instead.

Safe Notes Preferences on Android

If you’ve got highly confidential information stored in the Safe Notes section, then this one is for you. You can choose to hide the content of your notes by toggling the “Hide” option in Settings. That means notes remain unsearchable, out of sight and away from prying eyes unless you open the note to view its content. However, like most True Key features, if you’re looking for convenience over extra protection, you can opt to turn it on or off.

Password Generator History on Android

Keeping track of all your generated passwords is now possible with our newest feature on Android devices. Not only can you keep a secure, organized list of all the passwords you've generated with the app, but it's easy to find and pull them up whenever you need to.

Simplified Login Tile

Have you noticed it’s easier to update or copy your credentials in the Login tile? We whittled down the number of steps it takes to view your username and password, input new information, copy or clear them so you can log into your sites in a jiffy.
